The finest cheese shop in the area. They make wonderful, exotic sandwiches. Absolutely delicious foods. They know which cheese is appropriate for each occasion, which wine or crackers go well with each cheese. They sell all sorts of condiments and jams to match their products. It's right across from Stop & Shop in Madison. I think they're closed on Tuesdays but well worth the trip.
Great local cheese shop with outstanding selection of cheeses and locally sourced meats for platters and sandwiches. This is the place to go for lunch, charcuterie and cheese platters. As one of the employees stated "we won't sell it, if it isn't the best. We have to eat it also" as she laughed. Nothing more true can be said about Madison Cheese Shop.

My favorite sandwiches and quality food products in CT; It's a fantastic cheese shop with a wide variety of local food products, drinks, and ingredients. High attention to detail in all aspects, especially the sandwiches and rotating specials, and the quality is apparent in the ingredients' taste - owner of the shop is a heavy believer in organic, responsibly sourced, preservative free ingredients in everything sold.
Came in for a late afternoon pick me up and was pleasantly surprised with the best cheese sandwich (French Mouse). Coffee and Arnold Palmer was very good too. Will be returning on my next trip!
